Racists?

I found this discussion over at the "Cellar Door" blog so interesting I HAD to comment ;)

  1. And a bang up job you did, sir! Since you made a (cowardly) exit from the conversation, leaving what (I'm sure) you thought was a parting shot at me, I thought I'd bring the convo to you!

Everyone, click on the link he gave you to check out the comments!

In case it pains you, pc3, to do the same, don't worry; I'm posting my last response to you so that you don't miss out.

    Oh, puh-lease.

You know perfectly well that I am NOT saying that, but nice try at a diversionary tactic.

If you hand that little Black girl a White doll as a role (not "roll") model, I hope you hand your own White daughters a Black doll. And if Vision Forum had several different skin shades on their dolls to offer to all different little girls, this wouldn't be an issue.

See, the problem, pc3, is that apparently Vision Forums thinks that all little girls, white or nonwhite, can only learn from WHITE dolls, can only see WHITE dolls as role models, and that, sir, is racist.

In the future, DO use spellcheck.
    Stop being obtuse.

    And now, au revoir.

  2. Hey pants ...thanks for the spell check... never was my strong suit (btw a spell checker probably wouldn't have caught that since it was homonym :)

  4. pc3, I see you drew some fire onto your turf. Actually, Ms. fitsy-pants needs to use grammar check. For example, "See, the problem, pc3, is that apparently Vision Forums (sic) thinks that all little girls..."

But I am just picking on her, and probably shouldn't. That's not gentlemanly. I'm sure she's probably a nice person.

Where can I order some of those dolls for my daughter? I cracked up at all of the fuss on that blog. Actually, I am looking for a Jane Fonda Doll. Do you have the one where she is sitting in the NVA anti-aircraft gun? http://www.1stcavmedic.com/jane_fonda.htm
That one's priceless, and is just what I need to build for her a beautiful commie-hood collection. :-0

So, when do you want to pick up the bed? It's ready when you are.
